Orthodontics

The "new" orthodontics combines standard fixed braces with the European concepts of removable functional orthodontic appliances. This is now the preferred method of treatment in orthodontics. Results are esthetically superior and more stable for adults as well as children using these advanced techniques. Now in 2001, new also applies to the latest orthodontic technology, Invisalign "invisible" aligners and the low-force Damon orthodontic system.

Dr. Williams has treated his patients orthodontic problems for 20 years in his general practice of dentistry. In 1983 Dr. Williams began teaching orthodontics for the United States Dental Institute. Dr. Williams and his staff at Suwanee Dental Care are trained in recognizing and treating the majority of orthodontic problems. Orthodontic screening exams are a part of all of our patient examinations.
