What is "Self Ligation" Treatment?
Traditional orthodontic therapy has involved "tieing-in" archwires with elastic bands or
tie-wires. Self Ligation appliances have a patented, built-in "sliding door" that holds the wire
in yet allows it to slide freely back and forth. Consequently, fewer adjustments and
appointments are necessary to achieve our treatment goals.
The Most Comfortable Orthodontic Treatment Ever
Because of the sliding door mechanism, the Self Ligation system allows us to use
light force wires to achieve tooth movement. This not only results in less pressure on the tooth, but
also means that your treatment will be more gum- and cheek-friendly.

The really great thing about Self Ligation therapy is that, even though we use lighter forces to move
