Dr. Williams and
Tabula, our first patient in Morijo in 2001. Her tumor was
operated on and 50% of it removed. She is scheduled to have
the second surgery in 2006 to complete its removal.
Medicines are much
needed in this part of Kenya. The World Health
Organization estimates that there are only 2.2 dentists per
100,000 population in Kenya. The Morijo area has no local
dentists. |

Glori Love, a former
dental practice office manager and long time dental assistant,
assisted greatly in Morijo

|

|
| |
Bunnie Doster, P.A.
served as a major medical provider on this trip to Kenya. |
|
 |
|
Dr. Jeannine Wills
is a family practice physician from California who joined us
and worked tirelessly in the medical clinics. The building
we worked in was built last year with funds donated to the community by Kenya Medical
Outreach. |

|
Not much table
space in the new building so Daniel Eggart, a college graduate
who starts medical school in the fall, keeps track of
the order of patients and does a fine job of patient triage.
|
|
 |
|
Dr. Jeannine, Sheila and a local
physician, Dr. Francis worked together to assist the people of
Morijo. |
|
 |
| |
The assistance of
Francis Kippai in translation was a huge help for Jeannine and
Bunnie as they ministered to the sick and elderly.
|
| |
 |
| |
Mary Richards kept things organized,
interfaced with the local translator in patient triage in
Morijo, Olepariata and Olmekenkyu. Mary is in the middle
of the throng of Massai acting as gate keeper to the medical /
dental clinic. |
| |
 |
| |
Daniel also as the organizer and
keeper of the key to the doctors and medicines. |

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you
know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40
Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
