Missing Molar Replacement with Dental Implant

The Problem: Lost molar with two good porcelain crowns on the adjacent teeth

Molar space before treatment started is a common problem that was previously only treated with bridgework

The Solution:  Single molar implant maintains the molar behind it and the bicuspid in front

Treatment completed with a Bicon titanium implant and a porcelain to metal crown in just four months start to finish

This is the healing abutment placed at the time of surgery and left for three to four months for the implant to attach

This is the abutment that the crowns fits upon

The molar space between the fine dental work would allow the teeth to shift if left for too long.

A natural appearing crown fills in the space and maintains the integrity of the dental arch, preventing shifting of teeth and bite collapse.
