After Porcelain Crowns

Note the excess space between the front teeth, called a diastema.  The space is too large for closure without orthodontics, so Invisalign was used to narrow the gap so that crowns could be made that were normal in width.

After the completion of the orthodontics (see below) and the addition of the crown, the patient has the space closure and white teeth she always wanted!

One of the nicest aspects about dentistry is being able to give people back what they had in their youth. Here she poses with her husband for a family portrait and smiles confidently for the first time in many years.
