Dentists Curing Cancer - One Smile At A Time: $106,000 Raised in 2007...Suwanee Dental Care is a participating dental practice The Brighter Smiles for Brighter Futures Campaign. Participating dentists in Gwinnett donated professional services to create and deliver home tooth whitening systems to patients who donate $235 to the GHS Foundation's "Time Matters in the fight against Breast Cancer" campaign. Ask next year again about being a participant and getting your teeth whiter and brighter for spring!
Sugar Hill United Methodist Church: This is a growing, dynamic church 10 minutes from our office. Dr. Williams is one of the chairmen of the growth committee, a contributor to the the community outreach newsletter, Coming Home, plus a worker on the Church's Habitat for Humanity House in Sugar Hill. In October 2000 we started the Sugar Hill Dental Mission Project to assist needy folks in our community. This program is for pain and cosmetic emergencies screened by the SHUMC Haven of Hope Counseling Center. Dr. Williams serves on the church missions committee. Join us at Sugar Hill on Sunday for traditional service at 8:30 a.m. and contemporary services at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Dr. Williams' wife, Sheila, was a study leader for Bible Study Fellowship at Sugar Hill UMC for six years. Currently, she is the Co-director of the Healing Rooms at Sugar Hill. Dr. Williams was a study leader from March 1999 to June 2001 for the Men's Bible Study Fellowship in Dunwoody. Year 2005-2006's study is Genesis. To join this exciting study, email us for details. You are invited to join us in this Bible study. There are 19 locations in Georgia and 12 in just the Atlanta area. In 2004 The Healing Rooms at Sugar Hill opened in the chapel at SHUMC. Come for individual prayer. Open from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Monday night.
