Introducing

Church And State *

our 50th Birthday Party Band

*Testimonial

Church and State specializes in dance/party music all the way from the 60's straight into the new millennium. Church and State consists of guitar, two keyboards, bass and drums. All five members also provide vocals, each with their own unique sound, bringing to you a broad range of musical styles.

Church and State provides lights, a dynamic audio system that sounds great even at low volumes, and an extensive song list, in order to insure that your next party has everything it needs to be a success.

Testimonial Letter I sent to Zane after the party:

Dear Zane,

My 50th birthday celebration, The Half Way There Party, was sure a blast with you and the band leading the way with oldies from my younger days! I knew Church and State could play the contemporary religious music from hearing you at our church every Sunday. However, your repertoire of oldies music from the 60’s and 70’s and the few recently minted songs of the 80’s and 90’s was perfect for our gathering of graying, balding and potbellied old fogies. As you could tell from our gyrations on the dance floor, we didn’t let our advanced age slow us down from acting like those flower children of yesteryear!

My complements to the group for a job well done. The instrumentation was classically authentic and the voices supremely unique. I liked the vocals that your entire band added to the familiar tunes. Pam adds a measure of style with her vocals. Chuck keeps the beat going well on drums and sings well to boot. Dan on keyboard and vocals added to the mix. He was having lots of fun, we could tell. Bryan on bass was the soul of the group with the bottom line beat….you gotta have good bass to have a good band. And, of course, Zane, your lead guitar and Cockeresque vocals put the inimitable stamp on the band.

We got many complements on the party and specifically the band, so you should be pleased with the feedback we got. Sheila and I thank you for the time you spent with us sharing in this happy occasion.

Best wishes for a continued year of bearing fruits,

Dr. Bill & Sheila Williams
