And on the seventh day we, too, rested before heading back to work again in the USA

We board the airplane in San Pedro Sula and head for the barrier island of Roatan off the coast of Honduras. |
We say goodbye to Pepe, the mountain altitudes, and the friends we had made in Horconcitos. We are headed for Fantasy Island! | |

| Roatan is world renowned for its Scuba Diving | So several of us went diving. Lucas got his Open Water Certification while here these two days diving. | |
 |
 |
|
| The marina at Fantasy Island Resort | Our dive boat which took 12 of us certified divers to "The Wall" where we dove to 90 feet and saw colorful corals, giant sponges and reef fish | |

| Not all were inclined to Scuba...reading was Sheila's favorite pastime on the beach. | What is a trip to the islands without getting braids said Jackie and Mallory! | |

| Kayaking is perfect on the calm waters of the South Beaches of Roatan | No shoes, no shirt, no problem | |
